Caravane Sportive du Grand Sud is a traveling initiative aimed at officially launching Konbit Sportif du Grand Sud (KSGS) in Haiti's four southern departments: Grand'Anse, Nippes, Sud, and Sud-Est.

This regional project is based on the deployment of a sports and institutional caravan combining community sports activities, awareness-raising actions, and organizational implementation. Its objective is to make KSGS a unified regional movement, close to communities and sustainably anchored in the field.

Project goals

  • Officially launch KSGS in the four departments of the Grand Sud region
  • Mobilize and unite young people around a common sports project
  • Set up KSGS departmental committees

  • Increase the institutional visibility of KSGS at the regional level

Sports Caravan Concept

  • The Grand Sud Sports Caravan consists of a mobile KSGS team (coordinators, technicians, and volunteers), basic sports equipment, and a standardized program of activities that can be adapted to local circumstances.

Each step includes :

  • Community sports activities
  • Mini sports clinics
  • Educational workshops (discipline, leadership, citizenship)
  • A meeting with local authorities and sports stakeholders
  • An official KSGS launch ceremony
  • Mobilization and registration of local volunteers
